The Festival of School Choirs
Congratulations to our wonderful school choir on their recent performance at The Festival of School Choirs, which took place between 17th and 19th June at The Rose Theatre. The annual festival is the highlight in our musical calendar and the choir had been busy rehearsing since January.
Twenty three schools sang over the three nights. On the final night St Agatha’s joined four other Kingston schools, taking the audience on a musical journey around our wonderful world, with songs from near and far, movement, clapping and even flags! It was great fun performing with the other schools and also entertaining the audience with our solo items. The concert ended with the appropriately titled Cantar! meaning ‘sing’, which is something we love to do at St Agatha’s.
We can’t wait to do it all again soon.
