Parent Governor and Foundation Governor Roles
We are currently seeking to recruit both Foundation Governors and Parent Governors to join our school’s governing body. Being a school governor is a rewarding opportunity to contribute to the life and future of our school, working in partnership with school leaders to support pupils’ education and wellbeing.
What does a Foundation or Parent Governor do?
Foundation Governors are appointed in the name of the Archbishop and form the majority of the governing body in a Catholic school. They have a legal responsibility to preserve and develop the Catholic character of the school and to ensure that it is conducted in accordance with its trust deed. Parent Governors bring a valuable perspective as current parents or carers, helping to ensure the governing body remains connected to the wider school community.
No prior experience is required - just a commitment to the role, an interest in education, and a willingness to work collaboratively.
If you are interested in finding out more or would like to apply, please contact:

We warmly encourage anyone who feels they could contribute to the continued success and ethos of our school to consider this important role.
Kind regards
