Sustainability
St Agatha’s Catholic Primary School is committed to educating our pupils about environmental concerns and the importance of living sustainably, led by Mr van de Wiel.
We recognise our responsibility to ensure that pupils are prepared for a world impacted by climate change through learning and practical experience.
The school’s Sustainability Team is responsible for:
• Developing a sustainability curriculum.
• Appraising the FCFC Committee on environmental and sustainability projects running across the school.
• Sourcing grants to support the implementation of sustainable processes.
St Agatha’s School are currently completing an audit and writing a sustainability action plan. This is being completed in partnership with ‘Let’s Go Zero’.
Let’s Go Zero is the national campaign for all schools, colleges and nurseries to be zero carbon by 2030. Find out more.
