Year 5/6 Boys Football Tournament

St Agatha's Year 5/6 football team were once again able to play in a football tournament and wear the school kit! They travelled to Richard Challoner to play a round robin tournament against Corpus Christi and Malden Manor.

Results:

St Agatha's 0-1 Corpus Christi
This was an incredibly close match. St Agatha's hitting both posts, the cross bar as well as having a penalty well saved. It really could have gone the other way!

St Agatha's 3-1  Malden Manor

The second game was another close match, which at one stage was 1-1. St Agatha's however ran away with the game in the second half, stringing some excellent passes together and scoring some great goals.

Overall, the team came in 2nd place. Which was credit to the boys after facing two tough sides. The team battled well throughout and didn't let their heads drop after their opening defeat.
