Year 4 Trip to Canbury Gardens
On Tuesday 29th June, Year 4 walked to Canbury Gardens for a day of activities and to share a picnic lunch together. Kestrels and Eagles enjoyed participating in three activities: parachute and party games, diamond cricket and sketching along the River Thames. It was lovely to see the children cheering each other on and coming together as a team.
We all enjoyed a lovely picnic lunch together along the river with some children sharing picnic blankets with their friends. They were then able to play a quick game of basketball, football or a play on the playground equipment. We had a final game of luck together as a year group and were back to the school (right before the rain!) for a well-earned ice lollie.
Thank you for the adults that helped and for the children for being so sensible and respectful while we were at the park. Well done!
During the trip, the children had the opportunity to sit by the river and sketch the landscape.
Sabrina, Natalia and Lara were the winners of our art competition. Well done children!
