Y6 Juniper Hall Trip
Year 6 had a wonderful time at Juniper Hall on Monday 14th June. They were very excited when they ventured into the woods (which gave them a chance to cool off) and build their very own shelters. Important survival skills were learnt and thought about while creating their structures. There was some welcomed relief when the children were asked to show how waterproof the shelters were!
Another key skill of surviving in the wilderness was carried out when the children had to read maps of the site during their orienteering activity. The value of the month - teamwork - came into its own throughout the whole day.
