We have been learning about life in the Victorian times. On Tuesday 19th November we went to The Holly Lodge Centre in Richmond Park to take part in life as a Victorian child at school.
When we arrived we compared pictures of Queen Victoria and Queen Elizabeth. We then dressed up in Victorian clothes, were given one penny and taken over to the school house.
In the school house, we used traditional blackboards and slate for our pencils! We learnt about the punishments they had in the classroom like the cane! At the end of the workshop, we took part in some exercise outside in the field.
We hope you enjoy reading about our day and looking at our photos!
