KS2 Cross Country Event

Congratulations to all the children who took part in the virtual Cross Country event this week.  It was amazing to see so many children take part. We were immensely proud of the determination of the children to keep going and the encouragement and support the children gave to each other.  
In total 152 children participated which will be submitted to the Borough Sports Organisers for points in the Virtual Schools' Competition. 

One child commented saying "It was a real challenge, everyone tried their best and gave it a good go. It was so fun for everyone!"

Year 5 had the largest turnout and a special mention to Swans Class as every pupil took part - well done to them.
