Kingston Borough Cup v OLI

After recent trials 10 children from year 5 & 6 were selected to represent St Agatha's football team in the Kinston Borough cup. St Agatha's were drawn against OLI in the knockout competition. The 7 a side game took place at Richard Challoner School. 

St Agatha's started the game with lots of energy, pressing OLI every time they got the ball. St Agatha's created a couple of opportunities in the first half, both attempts going just wide of the post. 0-0 half time.

The second half was a far less cagey affair than the first, St Agatha's scoring early on, Sabatino heading the ball into the net. 1-0.

St Agatha's kept this lead for the majority of the half before OLI hit back with 3 goals in quick succession. To St Agatha's disappointment the game finished 3-1 to OLI.

The team should be proud of their efforts, dominating large parts of the game before running out of steam at the end.
