Twelve Year 6 girls braved the pouring rain on Thursday 5^th June to compete in a football tournament. They drew 0-0 with Malden Manor before there was a goal scored by one of our team in the match against Corpus Christi. We held on with excellent defending and constant running up the wings to win 1-0. The rain continued to pour while we played our last game against OLI. Although there were few goals, our one goal against Corpus Christi meant that we won the competition.  

The girls were very excited to be able to have a photo with Katie Cox, a Chelsea and England U19 player who also refereed their matches. She was very impressed, praising their footballing skills but also their teamwork and leadership skills.  It was a very successful morning for St Agatha's. Well done to all involved.
