Well done to the Year 6 netballers who won the plate competition at the Kingston Borough netball tournament today. The team played with increasing confidence and played an exciting final match against Latchmere winning 1:0. Fantastic effort and great display of sportsmanship.

Our thanks to the local Tudor Ward Police for visiting St Agatha’s in December to offer a bike marking service to our school community. We hope to get them to come in and do the bike marking again once the weather gets warmer and more families might be cycling.
Dear Parents and Carers,
Please see the attached flyer for details of the ‘Kingston Boot Exchange’ taking place at our school. The collection box will be at school from Monday 20th January, to receive any donations and will be collected on Friday 24th January.
Thank you for your support.
St Agatha's School
Thank you to everyone who helped plan the Christmas fair, volunteered on the day, set up, packed away, and came out to support the PSA and the school despite the last minute change of plans because of the bad weather. There was a lovely community atmosphere as we all gathered in the hall to hear the choir, and we had great feedback on the day itself.
We hope the children have enjoyed their Christmas entertainment contributed to by the PSA. These activities are only possible because of your generosity and support - Tiny Tunes for nursery, pantomime for KS1 and Rose theatre for KS2.
Once again, our talented school choir led by Mrs Rodgers brought festive cheer to the shoppers of Kingston when they sang last week at John Lewis Kingston. This has been a long-standing tradition, and it was wonderful to see family and friends there. Well done everyone!
Year 4 were transported into the other world of Narnia as they took part in an immersive Narnia experience. This was in preparation for studying The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe by C.S Lewis this term. The adventure started off with the children making their way through the wardrobe of coats and entering the classroom to the wonderful world of Narnia where magic is around every corner.
They created oil pastel pictures of Narnia and were in awe of the classroom's transformation.
The RE Ambassadors collected together all the generous Harvest donations from St Agatha's children, and with Mrs Cahill took them down to St Agatha's Church.
Our donations will be combined with everything collected at the church and taken to Dons Foodbank.
Well done to the Year 6 drama enthusiasts who wrote, directed and performed their very own version of Alice in Wonderland. They dedicated lots of time preparing - making props and rehearsing. "We just wanted to make some memories in our last year at St Agatha's," Yeva explained when asked why she wrote the play and wanted to perform it.
Pelican's class were most impressed - well done everyone.
On Thursday 3rd October, we marked our International day by learning about different countries of heritage within our school community. Our particular focus was on food and all year groups learned about Fairtrade in assembly. After school, we held an international food fair in the playground selling a variety of delicious treats made by our wonderful parent volunteers.
A huge thank you to everyone who contributed to this event.
