PSA  Fundraising Activities

Back to School BBQ

At the beginning of each new school year we hold a bbq event for all the family to come along and meet/catch up.  There is a lovely marquee in the playground and a bbq to feed the family.

Book Fair and Book Club

Once a year, for a few days, Scholastic Books holds a book fair in the school. A variety of books are displayed for parents and children to browse through and their leisure. The school gets books back as commission. Three times a year we open up the Scholastic Book Club when parents can buy books in time for Christmas, Easter and Summer holidays.

Cake Sale

Each class holds at least one cake sale each academic year. These are organised by class representatives.

Christmas Card Project

The children design their own Christmas cards which are then professionally printed.

Christmas Fair

This is in held in our school hall and is jammed packed full of stalls selling a wide variety of gifts and decorations. The school choir treats us to some festive carols and last year we had a special visit from Santa and his elves.

Christmas Tree Sales

These are sold in the Church car park after 10.30am Mass at the beginning of December.

Coin Conga

The children bring as many coins as they can to class, to weigh, count and learn with. At the end of the week each class will conga into the school hall and share their funds.

Fireworks Night

This is our most popular annual event, with tickets selling out in record time every year. As well as enjoying a fabulous fireworks display, food, drink and novelties are available to buy.

Recycling Mobile Phones/Ink Cartridges

Money is obtained when we recycle these items. Please put your own mobiles and cartridges in the special box which is kept in the lost property shed in the playground.

Summer Fair

Our main event of the year, our Summer Fair brings everyone together! This is the PSA’s biggest annual fundraiser.

Summer Social

This is less of a fundraiser and more of a roof-raiser! This year we are taking a trip down the River Thames.

Uniform Sales

Recycled uniform sales are held every half term, with each item drastically reduced. Please donate your unwanted, good quality uniform to the school office. (St. Agatha’s School uniform only please!)
